Meet your host…
I’m Lizi Jackson-Barrett, a Confidence Strategist for those who want more. I’m a coach, a bestselling author and a professional speaker. I’m also a mum to teenage twins, a wife, a daughter, a granddaughter and a friend. I’m a neurodivergent alopecian (yes, I was surprised to learn that’s a word too!) who loves musicals and avocadoes, and hates ironing and running.
I’m also someone who’s intentionally building a legacy – for my children, yes, but also for the wider world. I believe life’s too short for playing small. I want to have a positive impact on people I’ll never meet. I want to know that when I’m a hundred years old I’ll look back and say “my time here meant something”.
And I have a hunch you feel the same way… because when I talk to others like us, they all feel like this. Legacy Makers is taking place in the stunning Grade 2 listed Debden House in Debden Green, Essex. Despite only living only a short way from it I didn’t know Debden House existed until very recently, because its beautiful forest location means it’s hidden away from the world. After discovering it I hosted a Confidence Strategy Day there and was so blown away by the gorgeous property and grounds, the amazing food, and the incredible staff, I knew I’d found the venue for my first retreat.
It is easy to forget that many women have faced similar challenges on our very different journeys, and Lizi brought all of us back to that reality with a grace and eloquence that was deeply moving. Her work to support women in expanding their confidence is foundational in building a better world for ourselves and the next generation.

Outside of those sessions there will be ample time to network, connect, reflect, and enjoy the beautiful forest surroundings.

I’ve always been a ‘Dream Big’ kinda gal and that was something that had been missing from my life for a few years.
